These are the flies I use in the local rivers and lakes and we tie in my class.

The Possie Bugger was my number one fish catchingest fly this year.  It killed the stockers on the Upper McKenzie.  I fished a small one below a Stimulator dry for a few fish.  Most fish came with one tied on the hook shank of a heavily weighted nymph.
